How much should it cost to replace 2005 Honda Civic water pump and timing belt?
Q. My 2005 Civic ran hot during 98 degree weather- yesterday- one time- with a/c running. When I took it in this morning, they could not find a problem but recommended I replace the timing belt and water pump (car has 101,000 miles). Does this sound logical?

A. Page 149 of the owner's manual says to replace the timing belt at 110,000 miles. Page 160 says the timing belt should be replaced at the intervals shown in the maintenance schedule [on page 149]. But replace the belt at 60,000 miles (100,000 km) if you regularly drive your vehicle in one or more of these conditions: In very high temperatures (over 110 F, 43 C). In very low temperatures (under 20 F, 29 C). It cost me $300 to have the belt replaced on my 96 Accord at an independent mechanic who specializes with Hondas. Most dealers in my area want anywhere from $650 to $800 to do it. It won't have any effect on the car running hot so I would suggest replacing the thermostat and inspect all the hoses and flush the cooling system.

How do I remove the screws in a 2005 Kia Sedona front rotor?

How do I correct an error on my 2004 and 2005 taxes?
Q. In April of 2005, before the tax deadline I put $3000 into an IRA through ameritrade and claimed that on my 2004 taxes. In April of 2006, I did the same thing but with the increased $4000 cap. Apparently ameritrade requires a slip to be mailed in to say to which year the contribution is supposed to go. Without the slip these contributions went to the calendar year they were bought in and not the previous years as allowed. So yesterday when I went to max my contribution for 2006 I saw that it was already maxed. How do I go ahead and fix this now before the penalties start accrueing. Ameritrade says they can back up $900 but that doesn't fix the problem. It was an honest mistake and I have nothing to hide, but years of being forth… [cont.]

2005 town and country headlight goes off when signal light is blinking?

What do the airbags of a 2005 Ford Escape look like when deployed?
Q. My 2005 Ford Escape was in an accident. It doesn't look like the air bag properly deployed. The side curtains look fine, its the drivers airbag from the seat that I question. It was a driver side impact, to just in front of the driver.

Q. I unscrewed the high brake light bar from my 2005 Chevy Suburban this evening thinking that I could replace the bulb. To my amazement after unplugging it, I could find no way to open it. How Much is it to cost to fix a Broken gas guage on a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire?

A. if h & r did your taxes they ahve to keep a copy of your taxes from anywhere from 3 to 5 years in case of an audit so yes they will have a copy of it and they have to give it to you with out charging you for anything more than a copying fee

Q. We're trying to find my husband's 2005 w2 form, or a copy of it. Would h&r block still have it? That's who we did our taxes with. I wonder if there's any other place we could look.

How to open an automatic lock on 2005 Chrysler Sebring?
Q. I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring Touring and my keys are locked in the car. It is my only set of keys and I need to get into my car one way or another. Any ideas on how to get them out without busting out my window or anything like that?? I called the police department and they wont open it up for me and the pop-a-lock place is way to expensive. Help please!! Serious answers ONLY.

A. Take the last nine numbers of the cars VIN to your local dealer and they can cut you a key for three to five dollars. Or have someone else pick it up from the dealer for you if you are stranded. they can cut you a new key that will get you in the door with just the VIN.

Q. I have a 2005 KX250F and it will start first kick sometimes or not at all others. it has a brand new engine 15 or 20 hours ago. Any advice?

A. is the airflow tuneable? I've got an 07 KX250F and there is a little knob where I can adjust the idle. There's a middle ground that you have to find where it idles just right and kicks over in 1-2 kicks every time
